June 2004 saw a trip to Godman Springs in the Tucannon area of the Blue
Mountains of South Eastern Washington State. The packing pair on this trip
are Pepper Corn, and Kate.
This was Kate's first real packing trip. She handled all obstacles without
a problem. We hiked the Mt. Misery
Trail.
Camp
A herd of mule deer spent quite a bit of time on the hillside in the background
watching the llamas intently. They were so fascinated by them that my presence
didn't bother them.

One of the springs in the area, located on the trail below Oregon Butte.
The water flows through the log trough and is clean enough to drink.

Oregon Butte, again looking west.

They've spent their summers here the past 15 years.
